Our clients range from the one man startup with a dream to large retailers. Check out a few of the Android Apps we've created for our clients!

With over two years of experience in developing Android apps, Red Droid Software has been around almost as long as Android. We're not jumping on the band wagon and learning new skills. Our staff, averaging over 12 years of Internet development experience, knows the ins and outs of design, development and deployment. Whether you need a GPS app, an eCommerce app, an Android game, or an app for your custom hardware solution, Red Droid probably has developed an App for that.

Vortago

Vortago Vortago

Written for our client SpaceCityGamer and launched on January 1 2010, Vortago is a sophisticated board style game that features animation of graphics and AI capababilities. Vortago challenges you to get all of your marbles to the center of the board before your opponent succeeds in doing the same. Use your moves to form strings of marbles and advance your team to the center quicker, or disrupt the entire field of play by attacking your opponent and forcing a retreat.

"The game itself is nicely done with marble animations versus them just jumping into place when moved." - Android Game Reviews

"Excellent game. Deceptively challenging." - Michael, Android Marketplace

Go Find

Go Find Go Find

Developed for a client, Ideal Project Group, GoFind utilizes the GPS capabilities of an Android Device to enable users to find friends in a crowd. Once GoFound, a GPS and sensor driven arrow guides the user to his friend. You can spin in circles and the arrow will remain pointed at the friend’s location! This application required handling a number of complex problems including automatic launching of the application when a GoFind text message is received, automatically accessing a user’s contact database, automatically sending text messages, GPS integration and calculations, sensor integration and image manipulations!

Stealth Client #1

top secret

Our stealth mode client has a killer application idea that is currently being pitched to leading consumer products companies. You know companies like P&G, Budweiser, Hersey's. They've sworn us to secrecy so while can't tell you exactly what it does, we can tell you that this cutting edge app is going to completely disrupt a consumer's marketing relationship with brand leaders. Think what the microwave did to food prep and dial it up a notch. Stay tuned for the Red Droid revolution!

Stealth Client #2

top secret

This Red Droid client, received backing from a major handset manufacturer and hired us to make their custom hardware implementation for Android a reality. Red Droid was responsible for assisting the company with the Android GUI development, implementing on the custom hardware, and defining the backend APIs that will be used for porting the application to additional platforms. As part of this engagement, we developed a very sophisticated content management life cycle to manage the megabytes of files that were downloaded to the device for offline viewing. Say for example, on an airplane. This application features streaming media capabilities as well as, let us say, other types of content. We'll leave it at that.

Stealth Client #3

top secret

Our top secret client is doing a top secret prototype of an innovative application that prevents users from running certain applications if other things are happening on or around the device. Can't tell you more than that. But it's going to be pretty cool. Ok it's actually really super cool, patents are being filed and the Red Droid prototype has already gotten the VC's a-knockin!

Stealth Client #4

top secret

Red Droid was hired by this eCommerce company to port their very popular geocentric shopping app from iPhone to Android. This app is used to push product information and promotions based on location to their mobile device. We're excited to be a silent technology partner supporting their expansion onto the Android platform!
